Day Camp

Jillian and I went to a Girl Scout Day Camp today and talked to the little girls about how important it is to be involved and to stay in Girl Scouts. 

We then answered questions. My favorite one went as follows:

Little girl: "I have a question!"

Me: "Yes?"

Little girl: Pointing to my neck, "Did your necklace come with your crown!?"

Me: "Noooo, my mom bought it for me. It does match really well though, doesn't it?"

It was odd being there as a guest instead of as a counselor. I'm so used to leading songs or to making lanyards for the girls. It was odd signing autographs for them instead...

Also, it was tough walking around a dirty terrain in a pair of heels. 

Jill and I are going to try and get more involved in the community with the little time we have left with our titles. Hopefully, we'll get to keep our crowns till January, instead of giving them up in October.
