A week to go...

And I'm about to go on overload...

TO DO:
  • Bedazzle red shirt
  • Sew belt loops on black dress (Found a white belt!!!)
  • Practice talent!
  • FIND SWIMSUIT!!!
  • Keep working out, getting ready for the gym. Even though I'm slowly becoming satisfied with how I'm looking. Thank GOD I've decided to wear a one piece, I won't be freaking out as much
  • Start packing up garment bags
  • Pull fridge out of storage
  • FINALIZE interview outfit!
  • Study my platform, study my resume, study current events.
  • Get nails filled, hair done, etc. Practice straightening hair?
  • Figure out tanning situation. This may be bad, since the sun has been refusing to make an appearance lately.
  • Figure out which car we're taking up to Fresno!!

Oh god, I'm feeling so overwhelmed. This isn't really fun anymore. Everywhere I look, we're needing to spend money or go here or take this dress in and it's just a "glam" boot camp that I almost wish I didn't have to do.
I mean, I realize the point of it is to make you the best version of yourself possible, I'm just at that stage where I almost wish it could all be over so I can finally enjoy my summer and eat as much Taco Bell as I want.

I just have to keep reminding myself that in fifteen days, it will all be over.

Nude Heels

I didn't get an interview outfit, but I DID get these amazing little pumps. I'm so obsessed with them, it isn't even funny. Cute, practical and comfortable. I have a feeling I'll be keeping these leather beauties in my closet for quite some time...

Anne Taylor

So after trying on pretty much everything in Anne Taylor, I think I may have found two options for interview.

One dress is a hot coral, knee length and sleeveless. The color is bright and makes my skin look good. PLUS it's $30. Wooo.

The other option is a pencil skirt/top combo. I have two skirts picked out, one a deep navy (almost black), high-waisted with pockets and a belt around the waist. The other skirt is also a pencil skirt, but instead of being a solid color, is covered in large flowers. It's quite memorable. The top I found is a cream, with sleeves that flow around the upper part of the arms. I'm obsessed with it. Either of these combos come up to be less than $100. Affordable...

I also tracked down a pair of nude heels! They're a size 6, and about three and a half inches, but I put them on hold as well so Sandy could come and give me the thumbs up or the thumbs down. They're pretty interesting, and the only pair of nude pair of heels I could find in the entire mall. (And they were in the sale section of Cathy Jean, only in sizes 6 and 8...hmmm, sucks that I'm usually a size 7. However, I tried on the 6's and I think I may be able to get away with them...)

I think we're heading back to the mall today to make some decisions....Yikes!
